The best thing I ever done was wake up one day Boss up and accept my Magic...I’m pretty dope!

When your a boss everyday is a work day. The week doesn’t begin on a Monday nor end on a Sunday. Being an entrepreneur is 24/7 days a week and 365 days a year!!! What you put in is what you get...I guess....

When I think right back to the beginning of my journey into entrepreneurism, it started at the age of 13. I used to braid and cornrow other pupils hair during break and lunch times; as well as on the weekends. I had a trainer collection of life and loved experimenting with statement fashion from early. Of course I had to stand out like a sore thumb on non uniform days. My style journey, hmmm that's a whole other post lol. Anyway, let's just say that I've always had the spirit of working for myself embeded within me from day one.

It's one of the hardest thing to stay and continue to be motivated enough to constantly reach desired goals. Your role until you get to employ a good team is literally superman/ superwoman. You've got to be willing to do it all; from admin to accounting to sales, to customer service to postage/presentation, research, trial/testing etc. Oh yes there are dry seasons; well definitely at the start of your business until it picks up well enough for you to see profit. It's hard!!! You'll feel like your always working while others are enjoying! But you know what it's ok, as long as you see the light at the end of the tunnel. Only you hold your personal vision of success and where you want to be. Don't let anyone or anything de rail or disturb that!!! Keep your eyes on the prize. All of this is easier said than done of course so, if you feel you need help, get yourself a mentor.

If you do what you need, you’re surviving. If you do what you want, you’re living.
